The Warrior Tribute is an event, created to honor a woman fighting breast cancer nominated into The WarPaint Project to receive a package containing a commissioned painting created from the designs of the person nominating her, including handmade, donated gifts given to WarPaint Project, Inc. to distribute to its Warriors. Past 'boxes' contain cancer-related books, glass-beads, bracelets, pins, art supplies, cards, journal, and more. Like birthday presents, gifts are wrapped, labeled from who the gift is from, and presented to our Warriors as a Tribute to their strength, bravery, and grace, as they fight for their lives. Our gift shows Warriors an effort of handmade, one-of-a-kind gifts that have been donated for your Warrior's big day. Their Warrior's Tribute shows how artists, craft-makers, authors, and even a musician, have taken the time to focus their 'craft' in honor of someone who deserves to know their story, their journey, and fight, are inspiring and awesome.
